At school I wanted to
be a vet or a graphic designer. After a biology lesson in dissection...
... the decision was made. I studied all aspects of art and design and have enjoyed many different creative pursuits since childhood. After gaining a degree I worked in magazine publishing, honing my layout, typography and art-working skills in QuarkXpress and then later, Indesign. I learned Photoshop and Illustrator at the same time, giving me a strong technical understanding of print production, image resolutions and time management in a fast-paced design studio.
Looking to expand my experience I left for a job in promotional merchandising, where I picked up specialist knowledge about product design. My next role was managing a web and multimedia studio where I developed client-facing communication skills and learned how to plan project timelines and budgets, as well as assigning work to a multi-disciplined team.
I launched Small Prints in 2010 and since then I have worked with start-ups, small businesses, Fortune 500 companies and well-known brands. The design projects I’ve delivered have covered everything from logos and brand guidelines to large format graphics to promotional videos.
When the opportunity to work as a powerpoint designer and operator for live events arose, I jumped at the chance and have since become an expert in this area. I am enthusiastic and friendly to work with and passionate about producing precise, high quality designs. Most importantly, I am confident I can exceed your expectations.
